MEET HOOCH
Hooch our newest rescue/foster. His owner was incarcerated and a friend took him to prevent him from going to Animal Control. He is a good boy, loves kids and other dogs! Sadly, he has never been to the vet. His new owners only wanted to help find him a good forever and there is nothing better for him then to make him a Battle Buddy! Hooch is a 1 1/2 year old English Mastiff/Lab mix. I think this poor boy got the short end of the stick! |
MEET LEO
(Dutch Shepherd) - No cats, older kids only who will respect boundaries. This is a amazing dog who have to leave their current place today and we have no available fosters! Please if you can help commit to fostering a fur baby we need you NOW! Please complete a foster application on our page www.k9bb.org |
MEET JACK
Jack is a 4 year old red nose American Pitbull. He also will need some time to recover from skin issues due to fleas, but it will not take him much to bounce back! Jack has proven his love for kids, and even allows them to play dress up with him! He gets along with cats and other dogs and loves getting all the attention! |
MEET MAJOR
Major is a 3-4 years old male Shepherd who loves attention! He wants nothing more than to be on your lap cuddled up next to you on the couch. He is completely house broken, and has very good in door manners. He does have a dominant temperament and will be protective. He will need a strong dominant alpha handler who will be consistent with him. He will need to bruched & groomed regularly. Major is currently heartworm positive and is on the slow kill. K9 Battle buddies will remain responsible for his vetting until he graduates the program. At this time Major is only for the program and is not up for adoption. Major does NOT get along with other male dogs. |
MEET MASHA (adoption only)
Emergency Foster or adoption needed for Masha. She is a very smart girl and is crate trained, unfortunately she is fear dog aggressive. She needs a home with no other dogs. If you are a dog free home and are willing to at least foster her to give her a safe place until we find her a forever home please comment on this post, message the page, or fill out the foster application on our website, www.k9bb.org. K9 Battle Buddies covers all expenses for our furbabies, all you need to provide is a roof over her head and love. |
MEET KECO
Keco is a 10 month old Husky / Rottweiler mix who was an owner surrender to Long County Animal Control. Our fosters know the people who breed him and gave him and the other siblings away as "free to a good home," and they actually have one of his brothers. As soon as they recognized him from a post stating Animal Control was full and these dogs were at risk, they knew they had to reach out and help him immediately! With their commitment to foster him, K9 Battle Buddies was able to pull him and offer him a second chance. |

MEET MAJOR
Hello my name is Molly! I am about 2 years old, brindle weighing in at 32 pounds of love and curiosity. I arrived in the Savannah area with my sister Stella a little over a year ago from a high kill shelter. I was adopted and happy in a home, but returned through no fault of my own when my adopter left the Army and the area. I love being at my fosters house with my sister, but would really love to be in a furever home with kids and possibly a few fur friends. I love to run around in the yard and chase my sister and other foster siblings. I enjoy treats and belly rubs, and my foster Mom thinks my underbite is adorable! |
MEET ALLIE (Adoption Only)
Hi, my name is Allie! I am very sweet and playful with other dogs and puppies! I am almost 3 years old, and have been in foster care for almost 2 years. My story had a rough start, as I was kept in a tiny crate during my first year of life, then dumped out to be a scared little stray! Animal control picked me up in Alabama and I ended up in a high kill shelter. The shelter believed I was pregnant, so a kind rescue saved my life and got me vetted. I got to my foster home and had to learn to trust humans again. I love treats and to play with other fur friends! I would do best in a home with older kids and patient humans that understand change may difficult for me. |
